JIANANDA Heavy Machinery today unveiled the ZX-330, the company’s most advanced hydraulic excavator to date. The result of a five-year engineering program and over 2,000 hours of multi-continent field validation, the ZX-330 sets a new performance benchmark for deep foundation and large civil engineering applications.
An 18% Step Change in Fuel Economy
The ZX-330’s new variable-speed engine management system — combined with regenerative swing braking that recaptures kinetic energy during deceleration — delivers an 18% reduction in fuel consumption versus the outgoing ZX-300 generation. Over a 2,000-hour annual machine year, that translates to approximately 8,400 litres of diesel saved per unit — a meaningful cost reduction for fleet operators and a significant cut in CO₂ output.
The Commander Cab: Operator Wellbeing Redefined
JIANANDA’s engineering team spent 18 months interviewing operators across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa to understand the real-world demands placed on operators during 10-hour shifts. The result is the new Commander Cab — a fully sealed, positively pressurized environment rated to 68 dB(A) interior noise, equipped with a heated and ventilated air-suspension seat, a 10-inch full-color touchscreen display, and four-point viscous cab mounts that isolate the operator from boom vibration.
Real-Time IoT Telematics Standard on All Units
Every ZX-330 ships with the full JIANANDA Connected Fleet telematics suite as standard — no optional add-on required. Fleet managers gain real-time satellite visibility into fuel consumption, operating hours, fault codes, geo-fence alerts, and predicted maintenance intervals. In beta testing with three fleet customers across Malaysia and Australia, the system reduced unplanned downtime events by 43% over a 12-month period.
Titan-Frame Superstructure
The ZX-330’s superstructure uses a new high-yield-strength steel alloy with laser-precision cut profiles, achieving a 12% weight reduction over the ZX-300 frame at equivalent structural strength. The result is a lower centre of gravity and improved lift capacity at maximum reach — directly improving productivity on deep basement and trench excavation cycles.
Availability and Delivery
The ZX-330 enters full production in Q3 2024 with initial deliveries scheduled for Q4. Pre-order allocation is now open; JIANANDA anticipates strong demand given the reception at ConExpo-Con/Agg Asia and requests early inquiry to secure delivery position.
